Lost or stolen passports

If your passport is lost or stolen you should report it immediately to the nearest Police Station. It is essential that you obtain a police report for the loss. We cannot process your application without the police report.

Please note that the procedure can take a few days, so please plan your travel accordingly.

You should then submit the relevant passport form  along with two photographs (one certified by your countersignatory), the Lost or Stolen passport notification (LS01_form) and the original police report to the Passport Section.

If you find your passport after declaring it lost, you will not be able to use it as it will have been cancelled. Please send it to the Passport Section for destruction.
