SSAFA Big Brew Up (09/10/2009)
We British are famous for our cups of tea, so what better way to raise money than a tea-party at the British Ambassador's Residence? Catherine Landsman, wife to the British Ambassador to Greece, put the kettle on and hosted a Big Brew Up at her home in Athens in support of the Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen and Families Association Forces Help (SSAFA) charity organisation on Tuesday 6 October 2009.
Friends and colleagues joined Catherine for a good old British 'cuppa' in order to raise money and support the important work that SSAFA has been doing for over 100 years. Who would have thought our favourite national drink could help raise money.
