Royal Sun Alliance Anniversary

Royal Sun Alliance SA (RSA), one of the world's leading insurance groups celebrated their 300-year anniversary with a unique event on 16 September 2010, hosted by the  British Ambassador, Dr David Landsman, at his Residence in Athens. 

It was the only 300-year reception to be held by RSA outside the UK, thus marking the importance of the Greek shipping industry for the company's international performance. The event was attended by over 250 guests, consisting primarily of members of the Greek and London based shipping communities.

RSA is based in the UK but is also present in 33 locations around the world. The current company structure was created in 1996, following the merger of two of the largest insurance companies in the UK, Royal Insurance and Sun Alliance. RSA is a FTSE 100 company, listed on the London Stock Exchange.
