TRACERCO: Technology for fuel tagging

TRACERCO, a British company which specialises in the area of fuel tagging, in collaboration with the British Embassy in Athens, presented its technology at an event hosted by the British Ambassador at his Residence on Thursday 18^th November 2010.   The fuel tagging technology is used to prevent fuel adulteration and illegal fuel trafficking around the world.

The purpose of the presentation was to introduce their technology, based on a fully non-launderable tracer to the Greek State, as an effective way of fighting fuel adulteration and reducing losses of taxation income.  More than 20 guests, including representatives of the relevant Ministries, government authorities and the private sector attended the event.
