One year after the official opening of the Cambridge Breast Clinic at MITERA, Greek and British scientists of the Department had the opportunity to present the latest developments in prevention and treatment breast diseases, during a Reception that took place at the Residence of the British Ambassador on Wednesday, May 25.
Representatives of all major women's organizations involved in prevention and treatment of breast cancer, and women from political, business and scientific fields that show sensitivity for the matter were invited.
The Director of the Cambridge Breast Clinic, Professor Gordon Wishart said:
"The simple reason for a woman to visit a certified specialist breast unit either to prevent or to treat any symptom is that it has 99.6% correct diagnosis and, when treated, better forecasting and faster recovery."
