British Embassy & BHCC joint New Year’s Reception

The Commercial Section of the British Embassy and the British-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce (BHCC) held a joint reception for the New Year at the British Ambassador’s Residence on Wednesday 26th January 2011.

The event was attended by approximately 250 guests, including representatives of most British companies operating in Greece, as well as key players of the Greek market. The British Ambassador, Dr David Landsman, and the joint Presidents of the BHCC, Mrs Irene Watson and Mr Harris Ikonomopoulos, all expressed their belief that restructuring and regrouping in the Greek economy can generate new business and, hence, it is very important that companies from the two countries work together towards seizing these opportunities.
