All sites that contain military facilities, including military airfields, are not allowed to be approached or photographed and are generally off-limits to the general public.
As such, civilians cannot be granted access into military airfields. However, if the visit is of an informative nature (photographers, journalists and certain members of private clubs), access may be permitted under the following conditions:

In the event that the request is approved, all locations to be visited, as well as any activities that are to be undertaken (photographing, attending briefings, flight activities etc.) are subject to the direct control and supervision of the military airfield’s Commander.
Furthermore, it must be underscored that the Commander of the airfield has exclusive responsibility and authorisation to amend, postpone or cancel the approved visit should security concerns arise.
Following the above, please be informed that all requests for visits to military airfields of the Hellenic Army Land Forces by civilians / clubs must be submitted exclusively through the Defence Section, British Embassy Athens to the Military Attaché department of the Hellenic Army General Staff Intelligence Security Directorate, which will ensure (in collaboration with the Military Aviation Directorate) that they are processed and that you remain up-to-date on all related security constraints.
